A little about us –
My partner Bernie and myself live in Wetheringsett, well into the Suffolk countryside between Ipswich and Diss. Our home is a 4 bedroom converted barn with more than enough space for the two of us and our cats.
We breed the more traditional Siamese cats rather than the show bench type. We are only breeding seal points at present with occasional seal tabby points. We would describe traditional Siamese or ‘old-style’ as the type of Siamese you would perhaps have seen 30+ years ago. If you would like more information on the traditional Siamese cats I would suggest you visit www.oldstylesiamese.co.uk and that may give you a better idea. There are some lovely photos on the historic cats page.
Other than breeding these lovely cats, our other hobby is gardening and I especially grow a lot of plants from seeds and cuttings. I have a wide selection of unusual plants and I enjoy a challenge trying to grow some exotic types. Most of the plants I will try and sell to raise funds for my local branch of the Cats Protection charity. I am also involved with the Bury St Edmunds Cats Protection Charity by way of fostering rescue cats and kittens. We have a pen especially for that purpose. We are fortunate to have the space to have a rescue pen as well as having a stud pen. We also have 2 spare pens for our own mums and kittens. It is good for them to spend some time out there during the day in summer so they can have some sun and fresh air.
If we don’t have any kittens available when you call, we will more than likely be able to give you contact details of other Siamese cat breeders in the area.
